Job Description

About the Role: Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer. Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA Engineer will be a part of the worldwide technology team supporting the development, customization, and quality assurance of multiple proprietary, homegrown applications. To ensure the quality of our software, Fragomen's QA Engineers work closely with product managers, software developers, and automation engineers to help identify issues across multiple integrated systems.

How will you make a difference as a Quality Assurance Engineering Specialist II at Fragomen?

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for ongoing Releases
  • Design and develop test strategies, including functional, integration and end-to-end test cases
  • Leverage SDLC knowledge
  • Conduct API testing, for example using Postman
  • Proficiently write SQL queries
  • Conduct mobile testing
  • Identify, record, document and track bugs
  • Use JIRA and Test Rail
  • Provide critical feedback on feature requirements, designs and code changes
  • Perform regression testing
  • Identify critical and high-priority bugs
  • Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements
  • Test Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools/aspects of our environment

Leverage your valuable skills and experience to make an impact at Fragomen:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field; or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years of software QA experience
  • Experience with development tools like Jira, Confluence, and Test rail is required
  • Strong SQL knowledge for data validation is required
  • Must have API Testing experience, preferably using Postman
  • Ability to support after-hours deployment calls
  • Smoke Testing
  • Experience in using Selenium with C# automation is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication, eagerness to be a team player and collaborate
  • Experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies
  • Passion for quality and advancing your technical skills
  • Have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
