The candidate that will succeed in this position will be able to create all the testing and automation frameworks as required for their assigned projects.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and execute test cases
- Evaluate testing process, make recommendations as necessary
- Timely execution of test cases
- Identify, and record bugs and defects
Job type: remote
Contract type: independent contractor
Working hours: you chose what hours suits you best + you join all scheduled meetings with the team (overlaps with US PST timezone)
Testing type: manual + integration
Work time: up to 32 hours per week (4 workdays week or you can distribute workload as you see fit to get all your assignments done)
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience doing manual QA and writing integration tests
- Experience creating test plans and execution of test plans
- Solid understanding how LLM work
- Experience testing GPT like chats and apps
- Ability to effectively and above normal human level use tools like Claude CLI, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, and other
- QA theory knowledge, ability to train other QAs
- Adherence to maximum quality standards
- Interest in startups, and fast paced, fast changing environments
- Ability to write code (for integration tests and tooling that you'd need)
- Ability to join team meetings when scheduled on calendar
- Partial overlap with Pacific time zone
- Responsiveness, clear spoken and written communication in English
- Proactiveness, self-starting, attention to detail
