Job Description Summary:
The Quality Analyst is responsible for driving data-informed decision-making across utility-scale solar EPC projects by harvesting KPI data, analyzing performance trends, implementing best-practice controls, and reviewing contract compliance. This role supports continuous improvement and operational excellence by transforming raw data into actionable insights and ensuring alignment with contractual and regulatory standards.Job Description:

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
KPI Data Harvesting & Reporting
Extract and compile QA/QC data from Sunscreen and other platforms into structured datasets.
Automate reporting workflows using Power BI, Excel, and API integrations to deliver timely dashboards to project teams.
Maintain and improve data categorization frameworks to reduce “uncategorized” entries and enhance reporting accuracy.
Trend Analysis & Insights
Conduct Pareto and root cause analyses to identify recurring quality issues and performance bottlenecks.
Monitor first-pass yield, defect rates, and remediation effectiveness across projects.
Present findings in executive-ready formats that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Best-Practice Control Implementation
Collaborate with Regional Quality Managers and field teams to standardize inspection and verification procedures.
Support SOP and SWI development and rollout, ensuring alignment with field realities and client expectations.
Benchmark internal practices against industry standards and lessons learned from conferences like Advancing Construction Quality.
Contract Review & Compliance
Review QA/QC-related contract clauses to ensure inspection plans and documentation meet client and regulatory requirements.
Track compliance with contract deliverables, including warranty documentation and inspection protocols.
Support project teams in reconciling client comments with internal quality standards during design and execution phases.
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
3–5 years in quality analysis, project controls, or data analytics within construction or renewable energy sectors.
Familiarity with solar PV systems, civil and electrical scopes, and QA/QC workflows.
Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Sunscreen, and data visualization tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear narratives and recommendations.
Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Analyst, or equivalent preferred but not required.
