About the Role
As a QBO Integration Specialist at Monograph, you’ll be the dedicated financial systems expert for architecture and engineering firms onboarding with our platform. This is a customer-facing role that blends financial systems training, onboarding strategy, and accounting guidance to ensure every customer is set up for long-term success—both technically and operationally.
You’ll lead 1:1 sessions with new customers to get their QuickBooks Online (QBO) integrations up and running, advise on best practices for bookkeeping structure, and troubleshoot sync issues between QBO and Monograph. You’ll also support firms migrating from QuickBooks Desktop, helping them make the transition smoothly and in alignment with the “Monograph way.” This role plays a key part in adoption, retention, and revenue enablement.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a Launch Manager with a QBO specialization—leading new customers through setup, training, and implementing their Monograph <> QBO connection
- Run 1:1 financial integration sessions to align their QBO settings to work well with Monograph’s project-based workflows
- Offer tailored guidance on how to structure QBO for better reporting, billing, and data accuracy
- Create and facilitate onboarding education for customers focused on Monograph’s QBO integration, including setup guidance, workflows, and best practices
- Investigate and resolve sync issues involving invoices, payments, and expenses
- Build repeatable documentation, and resources for internal teams and customers
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and CX to improve integration tools and processes
About You
- 2–3+ years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations
- Strong knowledge of QBO (ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred)
- Experience with both cash and accrual accounting
- Ability to confidently guide customers on financial system structure and implementation
- Organized, empathetic communicator who enjoys teaching and problem-solving
- Bonus: Experience with QBD to QBO migrations
- Bonus: Familiarity with architecture, engineering, or other project-based professional services firms
- You’re energized by customer success, technical clarity, and operational excellence
- You’re U.S.-based
Additional Details
- Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000 depending on experience
