Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and manage testing strategies to ensure the quality and performance of software applications, leveraging 5+ years of QA experience.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute detailed manual testing across various data platforms, data integration processes ensuring applications meet quality standards.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Identify, log, and track bugs or defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Execute performance and load testing to ensure software scalability and reliability under various conditions.
- Implement basic security testing practices to identify potential vulnerabilities in the application.
- Perform API testing to validate back-end services and integrations.
- Set up and manage test environments to ensure accurate and consistent test results.
- Document test processes, results, and reports to ensure transparency and accountability in testing activities.
- Track and report quality metrics such as defect densities, test coverage, and execution rates.
- Stay updated on the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in testing and validation of enterprise applications.
- Strong experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on the functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong experience in testing of SQL and non-relational (NoSQL) database queries.
- Strong experience in testing and validation between databases, data lakes and lake houses, writing complex queries, identifying and tracking bugs and working with developers in providing resolution.
- Good experience in developing and delivering reports, dashboards, and communicate findings & recommendations to technical teams.
- Good understanding of the Scrum Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with business and technical teams.
