About Foundation Health

Foundation Health is transforming healthcare through an AI-powered digital pharmacy platform that seamlessly connects operational infrastructure with high quality patient experiences. Our mission is to transform patient centric care by connecting fragmented infrastructure, optimizing care coordination, and removing friction from the patient journey. We refuse to adhere to the status quo; instead, we actively pioneer solutions that will shape the healthcare practices of tomorrow.

This ambitious vision is only achievable with the dedication of the right team propelling us forward. We firmly believe that a supportive and inspiring work environment fuels creativity, transforming it into groundbreaking innovation. It is this very innovation that not only benefits our organization but also positively impacts our people, partners, and most importantly, our patients.

At Foundation Health, we foster a culture that encourages our team members to broaden their horizons, urging them to bring their passion and curiosity to the workplace each day. We understand that diverse perspectives fuel progress, and we actively seek individuals who share our commitment to excellence and forward-thinking.

The Candidate

We’re looking for a hands-on QA Manager to own quality across our platform and lead our UAT efforts with clients. This is a chance to help shape how we do QA, set standards, and help build a small, high-performing QA team.

You’ll thrive if you:

  • Take ownership and spot risks before they reach customers

  • Enjoy working closely with engineers, product, and client-facing teams

  • Can balance pragmatic testing with lightweight processes

  • Are comfortable leading a QA function while remaining hands-on

What you will be doing:

  • Own quality end-to-end, acting as the point of accountability from requirements through to UAT sign-off and release readiness

  • Lead UAT with clients, defining scope, coordinating execution, and driving sign-off

  • Line-manage QA engineers, including hiring, mentoring, and supporting team growth, while remaining hands-on with testing

  • Own QA planning, prioritisation, and delivery across releases.

  • Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for front-end and API platforms

  • Contribute to automation using Cypress or Playwright

  • Use Postman for API and end-to-end testing support

  • Give fast, practical feedback during demos, walkthroughs, and sprint reviews

  • Communicate test outcomes, risks, and release confidence clearly to internal teams

  • Help define and evolve our QA culture, standards, and tools

  • Balance hands-on testing with management responsibilities as the team scales

What we are looking for

Essential Experience

  • 4+ years in QA or software testing, hands-on with web apps and APIs

  • Experience as a senior QA, QA lead, or manager

  • Proven track record owning testing end-to-end, including UAT with external clients

  • Experience supporting client-facing UAT or implementations

  • Strong manual testing skills; exposure to front-end automation with Cypress or Playwright

  • API testing experience with Postman (or similar)

  • Able to work independently and lead others, taking ownership of quality outcomes and clear communication

Leadership & Growth

  • Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing QA Engineers.

  • Experience planning QA capacity, setting goals, and supporting career development as the team grows

  • Pragmatic approach to quality in agile, fast-moving environments

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to or direct testing of AI agents and workflows

  • Experience scaling QA teams or functions in a growing engineering organisation.

  • Exposure to defining QA metrics, reporting, or quality health indicators.

  • Previous experience in a QA Manager or Lead role in a product-led environment.

  • Exploratory and risk-based testing experience

  • Cross-browser/mobile cloud testing (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)

  • Familiarity with agile practices such as 3 Amigos, retrospectives, root cause analysis

  • Exposure to containerized or serverless/cloud apps (e.g., GCP)
