About Injective Labs

Injective Labs is trailblazing a new dawn for Web3 enabled finance. We are the core contributors to Injective, one of the fastest growing blockchains in the industry.

Injective provides an interoperable smart contracts platform that is optimized for building decentralized finance applications. Interoperability is at the core of Injective, which is natively integrated with chains such as Ethereum, Cosmos and Solana. Developers can rapidly launch premier financial applications suited for mass adoption using Injective’s infrastructure and specialized DeFi primitives such as the world’s first fully on-chain order book.

Our team has decades of experience spearheading the largest financial institutions and tech organizations. Injective is incubated by Binance and is backed by leading firms such as Jump Crypto, Pantera and Mark Cuban.

About the Role

We’re looking for a versatile Quality Engineer to help deliver reliable, high-quality experiences across a growing portfolio of Web3 products and blockchain innovations.

In this role, your primary focus will be testing frontend dApps and building UI automation testing suite to ensure seamless, reliable user experiences and quality control. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to validate web applications, mobile experiences, blockchain integrations, APIs, trading systems, and internal tooling.

This role goes beyond traditional testing. We’re looking for someone who enjoys learning new technologies, solving complex problems, and taking ownership in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing hands-on manual testing, designing and maintaining automated UI test suites, investigating technical issues, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to improve product quality.

Success in this role requires versatility. If you enjoy learning new systems, wearing multiple hats, and tackling a variety of technical challenges across frontend, Web3, and automation workflows, you’ll thrive here.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple products and systems.

  • Design, build, and maintain a UI automation test suite and quality tooling using Typescript and Playwright. Integrate wallet extensions such as MetaMask/Keplr into the test suite.

  • Validate functionality across web applications, APIs, backend services, blockchain infrastructure, and protocol-level features.

  • Investigate issues across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and distributed systems.

  • Analyze logs, metrics, network traffic, and system behavior to identify root causes and quality risks.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Contribute to release validation, test strategy, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate testing, automation, investigation, and overall quality engineering productivity.

  • Support new products, features, and initiatives as business priorities evolve.

  • Assist with production investigations, incident analysis, and post-release validation when needed.

  • Proactively identify quality gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve product reliability and testing coverage.

Who you are:
  • 4-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer

  • Experience testing frontend Web3 applications, dApps, wallets, smart contract integrations, or other user-facing blockchain experiences.

  • Experience testing frontend trading platforms, decentralized exchanges, financial dashboards, or other complex distributed applications with user-critical workflows.

  • Experience with both manual testing and test automation.

  • Proficiency in Typescript and experience developing or maintaining automation frameworks such as Playwright and internal tooling.

  • Experience with Playwright, Pytest, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or similar technologies.

  • Experience testing and debugging REST, gRPC, WebSocket, or other API-driven systems.

  • Familiarity with blockchain transactions, wallet integrations, blockchain explorers, and smart contract interactions.

  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across multiple layers of the technology stack.

  • Ability to quickly learn new products, technologies, and domains with minimal guidance.

  • Comfortable contributing across different products, technologies, and layers of the stack rather than focusing on a single specialization.

  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to independently drive investigations from problem discovery through resolution.

  • Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity while applying sound engineering judgment and common sense.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and challenges.

Why work with us?
  • Competitive salary and INJ token award.

  • Unlimited PTO.

  • Equipment.

  • Home Office Stipend.

  • Flexible working hours.

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain technology in the finance industry.

  • Collaborative team culture with opportunities for professional growth and development.

  • Global team meet ups.
