About Velixus Labs

Velixus Labs is building the next generation of AI, blockchain, and Web3 infrastructure. We help organizations leverage decentralized technologies to create more secure, transparent, and intelligent digital products.

We're a team of builders who care about quality, ownership, and delivering products that users can trust.

The Role

We're looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the reliability, security, and overall quality of our blockchain products.

You'll work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to test applications across the full development lifecycle. This role goes beyond traditional web application testing—you'll be validating smart contract interactions, wallet integrations, token transactions, and decentralized application workflows used in production environments.

We're looking for someone who enjoys finding issues before users do and takes pride in helping teams ship high-quality software.

What You'll Do

  • Test blockchain applications, web platforms, and APIs throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and regression test suites.
  • Validate smart contract functionality and user workflows involving blockchain transactions.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
  • Participate in product reviews and release readiness processes.
  • Help improve testing processes, automation coverage, and quality standards.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure a high-quality user experience across Web3 products.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in reliability, performance, and security.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience testing production software products in a QA or Software Testing role.
  • Experience working on blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3, or decentralized application projects.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience testing APIs, web applications, and backend services.
  • Ability to investigate issues, analyze root causes, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a user-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and automated testing tools.
  • Familiarity with Ethereum, EVM-compatible networks, wallets, and smart contract interactions.
  • Experience testing DeFi, tokenization, NFT, staking, or other blockchain-based products.
  • Understanding of blockchain transaction flows and on-chain data validation.
  • Experience working in startups or product-focused technology companies.

Why Join Velixus Labs

  • Work on innovative blockchain and AI products used by organizations around the world.
  • Join a team that values quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible remote-first work environment.
  • Competitive compensation and performance incentives.
  • Learning and development support for certifications, conferences, and professional growth.
  • Opportunity to help define quality standards across cutting-edge Web3 products.

Compensation

We believe exceptional engineers should be rewarded for the value they create.

Annual Base Salary: $90,000 – $140,000 USD

Compensation is determined based on experience, technical expertise, location, and overall impact. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may receive performance-based bonuses, equity participation, or token incentives where applicable.

Exceptional candidates may be considered above the stated range.

Benefits & Perks

  • Remote-first flexibility and flexible working hours.
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Annual learning and development budget.
  • Company-provided equipment and home office support.
  • Flexible paid time off policy.
  • Career growth opportunities in a rapidly evolving industry.
