About the Role

Litify is looking for a QA Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team! In this role, your focus will be split between hands-on manual testing of feature work and building out scalable automated test coverage using Playwright. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our legal software, which is built on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning QA end-to-end within an agile squad, from triaging bugs in Jira to writing and maintaining automation tests.

You can be located anywhere in the United States.

In this role, you will:

  • Execute manual test cases for new feature work, bug fixes, and regression coverage as part of the Docrio team's sprint cycle.
  • Manage QA workflow in Jira. Moving tickets through the board, logging and prioritizing bugs, and keeping test status current for the team.
  • Write and maintain automated tests in Playwright, following Page Object Model (POM) design patterns.
  • Build out and expand POM to support a scalable, maintainable automation suite.
  • Integrate automated tests into our existing Xray test management repository.
  • Collaborate with developers and product on acceptance criteria, risk assessment, and release readiness.
  • Partner with Customer Support in triaging complex application issues when needed.

To be successful in this role, you have (required):

  • 3+ years of experience in a QA role, with a strong emphasis on test automation
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright is preferred; however, strong experience with any modern automation framework (Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Xray or a comparable test management tool integrated with Jira
  • Comfortable managing QA work in Jira, including ticket workflows, bug reporting, and sprint board hygiene
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong ability to identify, document, and communicate the priority and impact of defects
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a shared QA codebase, understanding code quality and review practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across engineering and product teams

Nice-to-have:

  • 4+ years of experience with Playwright.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or experience testing Salesforce-based applications
  • Experience with Salesforce debugging logs or similar platform-level diagnostic tools
  • Prior experience working within a document management or legal tech product
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or Gemini) to accelerate test case generation, debug complex logic, and write automation scripts.

Disclosure:
The estimated base salary for this role is $90,000. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.

The range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
