The QA Analyst will define test plans, report defects, prioritize test execution, conduct exploratory testing, and communicate quality issues effectively.

Responsibilities
- Define test plans and test cases based on user stories, technical design, and implementation
- Dig into technical problems and write clear, detailed, and repeatable defect reports
- Reproduce bugs reported by support teamIdentify, record, and track internal/external defects
- Prioritize test cases and plan test execution effectively
- Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of products.
- Understand and contribute to automated testing systems and evaluate output.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work
- Effectively communicate quality issues and recommendations to improve quality to management
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill, preferably using modern testing methodologies
- Understanding of fundamentals of software quality assurance and various types of testing
- Meticulous approach to work
- Knowledge of bug tracking software preferred
- Knowledge of Test Management Tools such as TestRail, QA Touch, or similar preferred
- Comfortable working with software tools for capturing and recording screen activity such as SnagIt, Camtasia, or similar
- Prefer some programming experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation Information: $100,000 - $130,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. The total compensation package for this position will be determined by each individual’s location, qualifications, education, work experience, skills and performance. We believe in the importance of pay equity - the range listed is just one component of Filevine’s total compensation package for employees. This position is also eligible for a paid time off policy, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
