BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. You'll work on multiple programs and systems as a project team member and will be considered a subject matter expert for a single program or system.
WHAT OUR QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST
  • Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status
  • Collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrating them into business processes to address business needs
  • Documenting issues and assisting in their resolution
  • Delivering quality process training to technical staff and acting as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business and technical partners
  • Performing quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed
  • Collaborating with team members in various other locations

You'll work in a dynamic office environment. On a given day you'll be involved in test planning, test case automation, test execution, and writing test cases and scripts. You'll excel in this role if you have a positive, professional demeanor, are team oriented and can negotiate effectively with key stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: System development, business/systems analysis, testing, and/or business experience: 3 years or more
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience using ALM Octane Test Suite, or other testing tools, JIRA, and SQL
  • Abilities: Analyze and resolve defects; prioritize and organize effectively; handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; communicate in a clear manner orally and in writing
  • Knowledge: Exposure to test automation tools; understanding of database schemas and querying tools; demonstrated understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC); understanding of quality assurance process, tools, and methodologies
  • Working Conditions: Hybrid Schedule: Four in-office days weekly

Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Testing Certification ISTQB Foundation Level
