Key Responsibilities
- Lead all sourcing and procurement activities supporting plant operations
- Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with domestic and global suppliers
- Ensure supply continuity by proactively addressing delivery, quality, and capacity risks
- Identify and implement cost reduction, value optimization, and process improvement opportunities
- Drive alignment between purchasing activities and production and customer requirements
- Oversee supplier performance management, including corrective actions when required
- Lead RFQ/RFP processes, including sourcing strategies, bid packages, and commercial evaluations
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements
- Manage supplier selection, qualification, audits, and performance reviews
- Monitor market trends and supply base conditions to anticipate risk and mitigation actions
- Reconcile purchasing discrepancies (invoice, PO, contractual variances)
- Support capital and production purchasing in collaboration with Finance and Operations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and quality system requirements
- Support audit readiness and document control activities related to purchasing systems
- Drive supplier innovation and material/process improvements
- Support special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- CPM and/or CPSM certification preferred
- 5-8 years of progressive purchasing experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role
- Strong background in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis
