At Enroute, we are looking for a Publisher Solutions Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and optimize publisher integrations within an AdTech environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills, solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, and hands-on experience working with browser developer tools and AdTech Publisher (SSP) Workflows.

This is not a pure development role, but the right candidate should be technical enough to understand how publisher-side implementations work, identify issues, explain root causes, and help fix or guide solutions. You will work closely with publishers, internal technical teams, QA, and operations to improve integration quality, ad delivery, performance, and client satisfaction.to join a high-impact team responsible for designing, building, and evolving a customer-facing application.

The ideal candidate is confident contributing code while also participating actively in design discussions, proactive cross team collaboration.


Requirements
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL knowledge
  • Hands-on experience with browser developer tools, especially Chrome DevTools
  • Publisher-side AdTech experience
  • Understanding of programmatic advertising, ad serving, ad tags, and publisher monetization
  • Experience with at least some of the following:
  • Prebid.js
  • Header bidding
  • Google Ad Manager
  • SSPs / DSPs / ad exchanges
  • APIs / SDKs
  • OpenRTB
  • Ability to troubleshoot ad rendering, tracking, latency, fill rate, bid, and reporting issues
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical issues and next steps to clients and internal teams
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues without needing to be a full-time software developer.
  • Strong analytical skills for investigating data discrepancies, implementation issues, and performance problems.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into practical next steps.
  • Experience working directly with publishers, clients, account teams, technical support teams, or product teams.
  • Support publisher-side technical integrations across websites, ad placements, and monetization workflows.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to ad rendering, ad tags, scripts, APIs, SDKs, page behavior, data flow, and reporting.
  • Use browser developer tools to inspect network requests, console errors, DOM behavior, cookies, scripts, ad calls, and page performance.
  • Work with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL to understand, validate, and troubleshoot publisher implementations.
  • Investigate issues involving Prebid.js, header bidding, programmatic demand, ad server configuration, and publisher-side integrations.
  • Help optimize publisher setups to improve ad delivery, fill rate, latency, viewability, revenue performance, and overall user experience.
  • Investigate discrepancies involving impressions, requests, bids, fill rate, latency, creative rendering, tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with publishers, developers, QA engineers, product teams, account teams, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Explain technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document recurring issues, troubleshooting steps, implementation guidance, and best practices.
