We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to spearhead ElevenLabs’ public policy and government affairs efforts globally. The Public Policy Lead will drive our public policy and public sector engagement strategies globally, represent ElevenLabs in conversations with policymakers and other stakeholders, monitor and track regulatory developments that impact the company, and help shape frameworks that promote innovation and the responsible use of AI.
In this role, you will:
Lead ElevenLabs engagement with government bodies and officials globally, with a focus on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and/or digital rights.
Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups.
Monitor, analyze, and advise on emerging regulations impacting the company.
Represent ElevenLabs at conferences and industry events, advancing the company’s public policy goals.
Support the development of internal policies by our Legal, Safety, Security, and other teams.
Provide strategic counsel to company leadership on global policy trends and their business implications.

What you bring:
8+ years’ experience in public and private sector (in-house, firm) policy roles, with a focus on AI and tech.
Strong knowledge of the global AI policy landscape, including general AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.
Demonstrated success in designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes, as well as coalition building.
Public policy experience both within and outside the U.S.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including when briefing government officials and other policymakers.
Location
This role is remote and can be executed in the United States.
