Position Summary
The Proposal & Pricing Specialist plays a critical role in driving business growth by developing compelling, accurate, and data-informed proposals that showcase our AI and automation solutions for the healthcare industry. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Finance, and Technology teams to craft clear, compliant, and persuasive proposals that align with client needs and company goals.
The ideal candidate combines exceptional writing skills with strong financial and data analytics capabilities—able to model pricing, evaluate cost structures, and derive insights that enhance proposal competitiveness and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, write, and edit proposals, RFP responses, statements of work (SOWs), and pricing packages for healthcare clients.
• Translate technical and operational content (AI solutions, RCM automation, data analytics, and platform capabilities) into concise, client-friendly language.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather project requirements, timelines, pricing inputs, and solution narratives.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations to analyze costs, margins, and profitability to support accurate pricing and forecasting.
• Maintain and update proposal templates, standard responses, and pricing libraries to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Review and interpret RFPs and RFIs to ensure compliance with submission requirements and company policies.
• Use data analytics to assess pricing performance, identify trends, and inform future strategy.
• Track proposal progress, deadlines, and win/loss results to inform continuous improvement.
• Support marketing and sales enablement efforts by assisting with case studies, capability statements, and presentation decks.
Qualifications Required:
• 3–5 years of experience writing and managing proposals in healthcare or revenue cycle management (RCM).
• Strong understanding of medical billing, payer processes, and automation technologies (AI/RPA preferred).
• Proven experience developing pricing strategies or working with cost modeling and proposal budgets.
• Proficiency in data analytics (Excel, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar) for modeling, trend analysis, and insights.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and project management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical and financial data into clear, persuasive language.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines.
Preferred:
• Experience in healthcare technology, AI automation, or SaaS environments.
• Familiarity with federal and state proposal processes (RFP, RFI, SOW, BAA, MSA).
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, HubSpot, or CRM tools for proposal tracking and workflow management.
