Overview
Stelic is seeking a Project Scheduler to support a large-scale data center project in Texas. This is a remote-first role working directly alongside the Senior Project Scheduler. You will contribute to schedule development, progress tracking, reporting, and coordination across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This position offers structured mentorship, meaningful exposure to complex program delivery, and a clear path for professional development in a high-demand construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Senior Project Scheduler in developing, maintaining, and analyzing the Primavera P6 schedule for a large data center project.
• Assist with WBS structures, activity coding, logic ties, calendars, and sequencing that reflect real construction workflows.
• Collect weekly progress updates from project managers, superintendents, trade partners, and commissioning teams on site.
• Validate activity status, percent complete, and remaining durations through active participation in site walks and field coordination sessions.
• Prepare draft schedule updates, milestone reports, and trend summaries for senior review and client reporting.
• Track procurement updates, long-lead equipment status, and delivery impacts in coordination with the procurement team.
• Assist with baseline maintenance, variance tracking, and structured change management documentation.
• Participate in schedule review meetings, site walks, and coordination sessions with field supervision, trade partners, and commissioning leads.
• Support scenario modeling and recovery planning exercises under senior guidance.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready schedule records, documentation, and narrative reports.
• Develop familiarity with commissioning sequences for critical power and mechanical systems.
Requirements
• 3 to 5 years of scheduling or project controls experience on construction or large capital projects.
• Experience with or strong interest in data center, heavy electrical, or heavy mechanical construction environments.
• Working proficiency in Primavera P6
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, understand activity sequencing, and communicate clearly with field teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to schedule data integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
