The Role:

Project Quality Manager is to lead the quality planning and processes for the Washington state tolling program and enforce, refine and optimize the organizations quality standards and regulations. The candidate must analyze the required processes and data gathered and plan accordingly to ensure quality requirements are met.  This role will work closely with the project team and customer in ensuring that quality processes and plans are being followed, maintaining compliance, preparing the required reporting and identify areas for improvement. Role includes 10-20% travel to onsite project needs typically around the Seattle area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that the Quality Management Plan is implemented and is responsible for project-related quality documentation and processes, in addition to the review and auditing of project processes.
  • Scheduling and executing regular project audits.
  • Maintaining compliance to the contractual requirements, the Quality Management Plan and policies and procedures.
  • Has the oversight for continuous improvement based on any observations that are made or brought to their attention.
  • Verify reports, reporting accuracy, failed KPIs, data sample validation.  Including verification, trending of KPIs, and annual audit reporting.
  • Ensure that Kapsch’s Deliverables, purchases materials and services and subcontractor work and processes meet contract quality requirements
     

Your Profile:

  • Experience working with on large, complex software and hardware projects or related industry projects such as construction, technology, telecommunications, infrastructure, etc.
  • Have at least 3+ years of full-time work experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control related roles
  • Have experience with ISO-9001
  • Have experience with validation and verification
  • Have a BS/MS degree in finance, business, computer science -related field
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence resources at all levels of the organization

Preferred Skills:

  • Management skills and experience to successfully implement QA
  • Experience with regulatory programs, compliance management and developing solutions to meet requirements
  • Data analysis skills to identify improvement areas
  • Experience using digital resources to improve system efficiency and effectiveness
  • Traffic and Tolling project experience
  • ISO-90001 Certified
