Project Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid/Remote Cary, NC
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk strategies; lead contract reviews and ensure full compliance with scope, requirements, and evolving client needs.

• Serve as the primary customer contact, building strong relationships, resolving escalations, and delivering performance updates and reports to stakeholders.

• Oversee a portfolio of concurrent projects (~$50M annually), tracking progress, performance metrics, and ensuring timely, successful delivery.

• Manage project financials including forecasting, revenue, profitability, margins, and change orders; resolve invoicing issues and ensure successful financial close-out.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, quality, shipping) to ensure seamless execution, procurement, order processing, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in engineering or project management; electrical, energy, or mechanical engineering background preferred, with experience in electrical distribution.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of effective project management and creative issue resolution.

• Proven leadership ability with experience managing cross-functional and matrix teams.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize with a strong sense of urgency.

• Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills across customers and all organizational levels; PMP certification and advanced degrees (MBA or engineering) preferred.
