About the role/team:
The Global Services and Operations (GSO) Project Manager is responsible for managing cross-functional projects that impact GSO and WEX. The GSO Project Manager will be responsible for managing a variety of projects from internal Change Management initiatives to large, complex and multi department projects across GSO and WEX. The Project Manager will lead a variety of project activities related to scope development, cost/budgeting, strategy, communications, resources management, and risk mitigation. The Project Manager is responsible for developing project plans, and scheduling project activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and within budget. The GSO Project Manager is a collaborative team member who builds positive and professional relationships with all WEX team members.
How you will make an impact:
Manage a variety of company wide projects that span one or multiple lines of business.
In partnership, and with support from the GSO Project Management office leader and senior team members, identify opportunities for process improvement and system efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and document project scope, plan, and schedule for each phase of assigned projects.
Responsible for project ownership throughout the project lifecycle. Successful project delivery will include scoping, project plan development, oversight through implementation, and post mortem analysis
Regularly report project stats including project milestones, deliverables, outstanding actions, risks and issues to stakeholders.
Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills, and to bring creativity and problem solving to challenges encountered in the role.
Understanding of the inter-dependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
Strong communication skills and ability to clearly and proactively communicate with stakeholders.

Team player
1-3 years of Project Management experience, with desire to pursue career in Project Management
Experience with Project Management tools (eg. Smartsheets, Microsoft Project)
