Job Description:

At Regions, the Project Manager Team Manager plans, monitors, and manages internal projects from initiation through completion. This position defines and develops project/program management best practices, processes, and policy to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partners with multi-departmental leadership and other stakeholders to locate opportunities and develop and prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria
  • Secures required resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes
  • Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs
  • Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and people management
  • Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost
  • Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions
  • Supervises project/program managers to ensure that all projects are delivered within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost requirements

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related study
  • Twelve (12) years of project management related experience
  • Seven (7) years of banking or financial services experience
  • Five (5) years of management/supervisory experience leading teams of three or more direct reports

Preferences

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related study
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to create and deliver influential, executive level communications with clarity, confidence, and enthusiasm
  • Ability to translate strategic plans into actionable projects with tangible business results
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (PMBOK, ITIL, SDLC, Agile, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently drive results and deliver a multiple portfolios of projects on time and on budget
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Practical experience with change management, leadership development, and engagement techniques within management teams in a professional corporate setting
  • Talented at forging strong partnerships with key business leaders and technology stakeholders

The Project Manager Team Manager leads a team of Project Management professionals that are responsible delivering strategic technology initiatives aligned to business outcomes and delivering portfolio and program level analysis aligned to those business units.  This role is also responsible for developing, updating, and implementing enterprise-wide project and portfolio management frameworks, processes, and policies to ensure alignment with corporate strategy and goals.

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week.  The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.  Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.  This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC.  Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum:

$139,614.20 USD

Median:

$187,050.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
