The Leidos Digital Modernization Strategic Technology and Transition Team has an exciting opportunity for someone looking join our Program Management Office. As part of the team, you will support our Internal Research and Development portfolio and learn how to manage a variety of projects while developing collaborative, communication, and project execution skills. This is a great opportunity to both learn and have an impact in our Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos.
Primary Responsibilities
- Refine and enhance the procurement processes, ensuring alignment with project needs and organizational goals. Utilize the PRR system effectively for all procurement activities.
- Contribute to strategic changes that streamline procurement activities, reduces costs, and helps to improve transparency.
- Collaborate with the IRAD Project Principal Investigator to initiate, plan, monitor & control, execute, and close research projects that are part of the overall portfolio.
- Initiate FREDD funding requests for the annual budget allocation
- Prepare reports and briefing materials in support of the IRAD Portfolio.
- Assist in period-specific financial reviews, including estimate-at-complete (EAC) updates, and other financial management functions
- Communicate with key stakeholders
- Provide general project management support, assisting in coordinating tasks, tracking timelines, and helping to organize internal resources and documentation
Basic Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, math, or related field from an accredited university.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact with diverse teams and external partners

A keen interest in digital modernization, technology, partnership management, and business development

U.S. Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Experience working in team-oriented environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- An understanding of IT related technologies such as cloud and AI

Pay Range:Pay Range $34,450.00 - $62,275.00
