Project Manager (Solventum)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As the Project Manager, Commercial Excellence – Value Outcomes, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Our projects are at the forefront of medical device technology, with this role focusing particularly on business commercial areas. Your role will be pivotal in steering, capturing, measuring and tracking financial and improvement metrics of the area and the area’s projects.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting business capability performance over time and financial outcomes of projects. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills and an interest in understanding how strategy, operations, and financial performance come together through execution.
  • Working cross-functionally within the commercial teams to establish a Commercial Excellence Index Score focused on collective value outcomes.
  • Working cross-functionally within the commercial teams to establish realizable measures that allow teams to properly prioritize projects within the Commercial Excellence project portfolio.
  • Blending project management, business performance measurement, and financial analysis, supporting initiatives that drive revenue growth, cost savings, productivity improvements, and measurable business impact.
  • Working closely with business, functional, & technical partners to evaluate alternative solutions based on potential value outcomes and measures, including those that are financially focused. Balances business risk, cost, and performance to enable sound decision-making.
  • Developing, establishing and enforcing project management standards, tools, and governance processes to ensure consistent execution, transparency, and accountability across all projects within the portfolio.
  • Managing projects of various scopes, budgets and duration lengths in an agile manner to produce desired results and business impact. 
  • Communicating effectively cross-functionally with leaders, partners, other project managers and subject matter experts within Commercial Excellence and across the organization.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 1 year of project management experience

OR

  • A Highschool/ GED AND 5 years of project management experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification OR Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Agile Project Management Certification (Certified SCRUM Master or Certified Agile Practitioner)
  • AI certification and experience
  • Microsoft Power Apps proficiency
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Jira proficient

Work location:

  • Remote -USA

Travel: May include up to 15% international/ domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be Authorized

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $83,600 - $114,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
