The Project Manager will oversee civil construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring schedules and budgets are maintained while coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Manage all phases of civil construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost reports, and forecasts
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Review contracts, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance
- Procure materials and subcontractor services as required
- Track project progress and prepare reports for management and clients
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies
- Identify project risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of project management experience in civil construction
- Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar)
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing site development, utilities, earthwork, or roadway construction projects
- Familiarity with local and state construction regulations
