About the Team:
The Construction Design and Delivery team is at the core of Relativity’s growth and development. Through our collaboration and expertise, we deliver projects that lay the foundation for Relativity’s future success. In essence, we build the factory that builds the rockets! We are responsible for cross functional relationships with teams such as Manufacturing, Propulsion, PBF, Avionics, Machine Shop, Facilities, EHS and Security to name a few, working through design specifications and execution of critical infrastructure projects that supports the mission of work centers. Our relationships don’t stop there, working daily with government agencies, utility suppliers, vendors and contractors who support our factory build out. Our team ensures that all projects meet operational requirements, safety and environmental codes, all the while remaining within budget, delivering on time, and to the highest quality as we help to drive production forward.
About the Role:
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets from initiation through closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Produce dashboards, trend analyses, and earned value management (EVM) reports.
- Coordinate with project management and finance to evaluate and document all scope changes.
- Partner with Facilities, Engineering, Construction, and Finance to ensure accurate project data and forecasting.
- Identify potential cost and schedule risks and assist in mitigation planning
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or construction project management
- Hands-on experience with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project) and data tools (Excel, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of construction phases, change management, and reporting standards
- Ability to interpret and validate contractor cost reports, payment applications, and schedule updates
- Proven success managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to haves but not required:
- Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Finance
- Certification in PMP, CCP (Certified Cost Professional), PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), or equivalent
- Familiarity with ERP or project cost systems (SAP, Oracle, Procore, etc.)
- Experience with AACE or PMI project controls frameworks
