Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join:

The AirCover team is the engine behind Airbnb’s promise of protection, charged with ideating, building, launching, and managing the entire AirCover business ecosystem. We operate at the intersection of trust, safety, and hospitality, carrying a profound responsibility to our global community of Hosts and guests. Our mission is to ensure that when the unexpected happens—whether it's a booking disruption or a property concern—Airbnb is there to make it right.

As we look to the future, we have an ambitious roadmap designed to redefine what protection looks like in the travel industry. This involves not just maintaining our current high standards, but pioneering new frameworks and best-in-class services that provide unparalleled peace of mind. To achieve this, we are seeking a strategic operator who can help us navigate complex objectives, drive critical initiatives, and manage the intricate web of projects necessary for AirCover’s continued success and evolution.

The Difference You Will Make:

As a central pillar of the AirCover team, you will be the driving force behind the operational excellence that keeps our Host and guest community secure. You will do more than just manage timelines; you will orchestrate the delivery of trust. By seamlessly connecting strategy with execution, you will ensure that when our community needs us most, our promises are backed by robust, well-executed programs.
You will lead the heartbeat of the AirCover operating rhythm, bringing clarity to complexity across product, legal, and operational teams. Your work will directly influence how we scale our protection offerings, transforming ambitious roadmaps into tangible safety nets for millions of users worldwide. Through rigorous planning and proactive relationship building, you will eliminate friction, drive accountability, and champion a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that AirCover remains the industry standard for protection in travel.
