Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Program Manager to work for our company.

Summary:

  • Must be eligible to obtain a current DHS Clearance (Basic requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies, and adherence to a drug free workplace.)
  • Must have Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, other recognized certification, etc.)   
  • Must have a relevant Agile certification including but not limited to: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe Agilist (SA), ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). 
  • Will oversee all work performed under each BPA order and act as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for all BPA-related matters, ensuring seamless communication with the BPA CO and COR.
  • Will oversee all contractor work under BPA orders, ensuring timely delivery of projects and maintaining budget compliance.
  • Will act as the liaison for systemic problem resolution.
  • Will collaborate with technical teams of diverse skill sets to develop IT roadmaps, implement strategies, and improve program efficiency.
  • Will lead risk management initiatives and ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Will maintain open communication with senior and executive management and participate in client negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Must have a relevant Agile certification including but not limited to: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified SAFe Agilist (SA), ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields. 
  • Must have 15+ years of IT Program Management experience across multiple IT domains.  
  • Must have experience managing large-scale projects of $400 million+.  
  • Must have previous experience interacting and being involved with client negotiations and interfacing with senior and executive management both with government officals and internal corporate stakeholders. 
  • Must have previous experience ensuring the team delivers agile development artifacts, which will include Project Sprint/Product/Release Backlogs, Burn-downs/ups, Team Velocity, User Story Acceptance Criteria, User Story Estimation, Sprint Review, Definition of Done, and Release Retrospective. 
  • Must have previous experience with JIRA, and Confluence.  
  • Must have previous experience with Microsoft Project. 
  • Must have previous experience monitoring risk management, including identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks, and communicating and escalating risks and issues where appropriate. 
  • Must have previous experience with risk management, including identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks, and communicating and escalating risks and issues where appropriate. 
  • Must have previous experience leading and collaborating with technical teams of diverse IT related skill sets. 
  • Must have previous experience defining reports per the schedule agreed to by the Government and, where applicable, adhoc reports. 
  • Must have previous experience facilitating activities through training, testing, go-live, and post go-live support. 
  • Must be an expert in developing IT roadmap and strategies, performing risk management, and identifying and implementing program efficiencies. 
  • Must have previous experience successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget. 
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
