In This Role

Join a high-impact AI product team as a Program Manager, where you'll serve as the central orchestrator for release management across multiple endpoints and audiences. You'll own the end-to-end release lifecycle for AI-powered chat and search experiences, ensuring seamless coordination between feature teams, engineering partners, and leadership stakeholders. This role offers exceptional exposure to cutting-edge AI product development at enterprise scale, with the opportunity to become an AI subject matter expert while driving process excellence and operational discipline across a rapidly growing product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Project Tracking: Maintain centralized visibility of all ongoing AI feature rollouts and dependencies across teams using Azure DevOps (ADO) Boards and Queries, providing a single source of truth for release readiness across all supported endpoints and audiences
  • Release Coordination & Shiproom Management: Serve as the directly responsible individual (DRI) for coordinating weekly shiproom meetings and bi-weekly product reviews, acting as the single point of contact for leadership and partner teams regarding release schedules, deployment timelines, and usage projections
  • Living Release Tracker Ownership: Maintain and drive accountability for a comprehensive release tracker that documents feature availability and rollout schedules per audience and endpoint, coordinating closely with release engineers on code branches, feature flags, and deployment schedules
  • Status Reporting & Communication: Provide comprehensive reporting on release status to leadership and cross-functional teams, publishing detailed minutes, decisions, and action item owners after each shiproom or key discussion
  • Follow-Through & Closure: Own end-to-end follow-through on all release-related action items, acting as the "air traffic controller" for releases by monitoring every moving part until successful deployment
  • Risk Management & Readiness: Proactively identify and manage risks to release success including new dependencies, late-breaking bugs, and performance regressions, driving mitigation plans to protect project scope, quality, and timelines
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve release processes and tooling by analyzing pain points, driving efficiency initiatives such as enhanced ADO queries for cross-team visibility, refining meeting formats, and supporting the shift toward DevOps/Continuous Delivery culture

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience in project tracking, particularly feature rollout tracking and release management in complex, multi-team environments
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Program/Product Management for AI tools, with demonstrated knowledge of AI product development and feature coordination
  • 5-7+ years of experience driving process improvement initiatives, with proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal capabilities
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accountability across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing effective delivery and distribution
  • Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools including Azure DevOps, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • PMI or PMP certification
  • Previous experience working on AI products or large-scale enterprise software releases
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies and Continuous Delivery practices
  • Track record of establishing and maintaining release management frameworks in fast-paced, high-growth product environments
