The Role
Presidio is looking for Program Managers with experience leading all aspects of IT projects including scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change control. Presidio Program Mangers work directly with the project team, clients and partners to lead and ensure successful project delivery within scope, on time and within budget, and are expected to be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and project teams. 

This specific role serves as the primary point of contact and central liaison between Presidio and AWS ProServe. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless alignment across opportunity intake, staffing, delivery readiness, and delivery execution. 

The Program Manager plays a critical role in orchestrating cross-functional collaboration, including coordinating closely with AWS ProServe stakeholders on opportunity qualification and supporting joint interview and selection processes to ensure the right Presidio talent is deployed. 

 This individual must bring a strong technical foundation across cloud, migration, DevOps, application development, data, and AI domains to effectively route requests, align skills to demand, and support high-quality delivery outcomes. 

Travel Requirements: 

This is a remote role, but you may be expected to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engagement Readiness & Delivery Enablement 
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between Presidio and AWS ProServe 
    • Maintain proactive communication with AWS ProServe stakeholders across opportunities and active engagements 
    • Identify, track, and manage upcoming AWS ProServe opportunities 
    • Own internal alignment across GTM, delivery, and practice leadership for each opportunity 
    • Ensure delivery teams understand AWS ProServe expectations, scope, and operating models 
    • Support coordination of joint Presidio and AWS ProServe interviews and candidate selection processes 
  •  Staffing & Capacity Coordination 
    • Develop and operationalize standardized intake and staffing processes for AWS ProServe engagements 
    • Partner with practice leads to secure appropriate technical resources across US and India delivery teams 
    • Leverage technical understanding to effectively route requests across App Dev, Data, AI, Cloud, and End User Compute domains 
    • Support coordination of engagement kickoff, role clarity, and onboarding 
    • Anticipate resource gaps and proactively escalate capacity risks 
    • Maintain forward-looking visibility into ProServe demand and staffing needs 
    • Identify repeatable staffing patterns, skill gaps, and optimization opportunities 
  •  Operational Readiness & Ongoing Engagement 
    • Provide regular reporting and insights into Services leadership on ProServe performance 
    • Track project performance, utilization, and key delivery metrics 
    • Identify trends in deal types, skill demand, and growth areas 
    • Develop and refine playbooks for ProServe delivery and engagement management 
    • Partner with GTM and delivery leadership to improve win rates and execution quality 
    • Monitor ongoing engagements, proactively identifying and mitigating risks 
    • Manage escalations, ensuring timely resolution and strong client outcomes 
    • Deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience aligned with Presidio’s service culture 
  •  General Program Management 
    • Manage a portfolio of client projects across multiple service offerings. 
    • Manage expectations and requirements of multiple project stakeholders (to include internal, partner and customer sponsors and stakeholders). 
    • Plan and implement IT solution development projects and programs. 
    • Close collaboration and alignment with the delivery and sales team leadership to drive consistent business value for our customers and support the overall business goals and strategy of Presidio. 
    • Build and maintain program roadmaps, milestones and dependencies (with knowledge of relevant tools). 
    • Develop comprehensive project and program roadmaps to track tasks, schedule, risks, and issues to be shared with the project team and client team. 
    • Lead resolution of issues/escalations related to budget, schedule, and scope. 
    • Oversee the activities of various stakeholders (Scrum meetings, project and program meetings, technical deep dive sessions, etc.). 
    • Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met and escalate to Presidio leadership when necessary. 
    • Maintain detailed, comprehensive program documentation and reports using project management tools. 
    • Serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of projects. 
    • Lead cross-functional, virtual and offshore teams. 
    • Ensure that projects and programs align with Presidio overall strategic objectives.  
  • Required Qualifications 
    • At least 10 years of experience in IT program management and general IT consulting. 
    • Strong communication skills, organization skills and the ability to lead with authority internally and within the customer organization. 
    • Demonstrable skills across project management standard methodologies (Project Management Institute defined), Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Waterfall). 
    • Proficient in schedule and road mapping PPM tools for goal and timeline tracking. 
    • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, Zoho or similar project management toolsets to manage project tracking, key performance indicators, project budget, resources, and timelines. 
    • Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint). 
    • Ability to travel. 
    • Typical work week hours can vary depending on workload and deliverables.

    • Executive presence and can effectively engage with clients, stakeholders and leadership teams 
    • Demonstrable skills across project management standard methodologies (PMI/PMBOK, Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Waterfall). 
    • Proficient in Confluence, Jira and Microsoft Project. 
    • Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint). 
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 

 Additional Desired Skills: 

  • PMP or similar professional certification. 
  • Experience leading projects and programs which leverage AWS and Azure technologies. 
  • Strong time management, analytical, communication, thought leadership, team building, motivational and customer service skills. 
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship building skills. 
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and have ownership of staying up to date on current and emerging technologies and tools as they relate to our business and customer needs.

 Education and Experience:  

  • PMP or similar professional certification preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience 
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT project and program management and general IT consulting. 
  • Strong time management, analytical, communication, thought leadership, team building, motivational and customer service skills. 
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship building skills. 
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change and have ownership of staying up-to-date on current and emerging technologies and tools as they relate to our business and program needs. 
  • Passion, creativity, energy, and enthusiasm towards collaborating on the exciting growth and development of our company.
