JOB SUMMARY: 

The Program Manager of Operations Coordination plays a significant role in the seamless alignment and execution of Sky Zone’s key operational initiativesThis individual helps to maintain clarity, organization, and efficiency across our company’s diverse functions and is responsible for ensuring projects are coordinated effectively across corporate departments and ParksThey ensure deadlines are met and provide critical oversight that is proactive in preventing potential issues, improving workflows, and ensuring timely communication to the Field  

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 

  • Process improvement or relevant certifications are a plus. 

  • 5-7 years of experience in program management or operations coordination with at least 2-3 years of experience in a multi-unit or multi-location environment. 

  • Experience in a related industry, such as entertainment, retail, restaurants, fitness, franchises, etc., is highly beneficial. 

  • Previous experience in multi-unit operating platforms, franchise systems, and field-facing leadership roles is highly preferred. 

  • Highly collaborative with experience successfully working cross-functionally to implement large-scale initiatives. 

  • Demonstrated success in process improvement and optimizing operational workflows. 

  • Technically savvy and well-versed in MS Office Suite and various tools and systems for workflow management (Smartsheet), and flowcharts. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Ops Calendar Management & Oversight: 

  • Maintain a comprehensive, accurate, and dynamic Operations Calendar to track all projects, rollouts, training, and cross-functional initiatives that impact Ops Services and the Field. 

  • Ensure alignment across departments by proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts. 

  • Regularly update and maintain the Ops Calendar, tracking all projects, rollouts, meetings, and training initiatives. 

  • Communicate schedule updates, milestones, and deadlines to relevant stakeholders. 

 

Support Departmental Alignment & Execution: 

  • Act as the central coordinator between Operations Services functions, ensuring alignment across key leaders, including the Senior Manager of Field Integration & Implementation and Manager of Operations Insight and Excellence. 

  • Drive consistency and clarity in operational planning, integrating inputs from cross-functional teams to ensure streamlined execution. 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for integrating cross-departmental initiatives (e.g., Marketing rollouts) into the Ops Calendar. 

  • Ensure alignment between departments by facilitating communication and resolving conflicts proactively. 

 

Operational Efficiency & Reporting: 

  • Develop scalable process flow mapping frameworks that streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and prepare for future growth. 

  • Ensure documented processes are clear, practical, and easily adaptable to evolving operational needs. 

  • Create detailed flowcharts and visual process maps for all key workflows, highlighting dependencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. 

  • Document existing processes and implement updates to ensure scalability and clarity for future initiatives. 

  • Identify and report scheduling conflicts, delays, and resource constraints to the Director of Operations Implementation. 

  • Provide regular updates on the status of projects, meeting outcomes, and rollout progress to leadership. 

 

Cross-Functional Communication & Collaboration: 

  • Partner with the Senior Manager of Communications to align communication timelines with the Ops Calendar, ensuring field-facing messages are timely and actionable. 

  • Facilitate coordination with cross-functional teams to integrate external initiatives into departmental timelines. 

  • Schedule and manage Field meetings, including preparation of agendas, tracking of action items, and follow-up communication. 

  • Provide clear summaries of meeting outcomes, including actionable next steps for participant 

 

Support Growth & Scalability: 

  • Build foundational systems and workflows that can grow with Sky Zone’s expanding operations, ensuring consistency across company-owned and franchise locations. 

  • Contribute to the long-term success of the Operations Services department by creating tools and processes that support seamless collaboration. 

  • Coordinate rollouts and training sessions, ensuring that deliverables are executed on time and meet high-quality standards. 

  • Provide logistical support for training materials, scheduling, and follow-up activities. 

 

Technology Management: 

  • Use Microsoft Office and Smartsheet to manage the Ops Calendar, ensuring it is accessible, organized, and up-to-date. 

  • Recommend and implement process improvements using technology to enhance coordination and efficiency. 

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • This position requires the ability to remain stationary at a desk, with or without reasonable accommodation. 

 

 

Compensation range is $85-95k/yr based on qualifications and experience.  Full-time employees at Sky Zone enjoy a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401k plan with company matching.  Eligibility for 401k is based on age and tenure requirements.
