Job Description

As we merge MasterBrand and American Woodmark, the Integration Management Office (IMO) is accountable for ensuring operations integrate seamlessly and the new company meets value-creating commitments. The Program Manager will play a key role in coordinating, monitoring and driving the execution of our integration priorities across all workstreams, ensuring delivery of synergy savings and execution that meets or exceeds quality, delivery and productivity expectations.

This role will lead program-level management of integration—aligning milestones, connecting workstreams, and developing strong execution practices across the team. The Program Manager will partner closely with workstream leaders and project managers to ensure clear accountability, proactive problem solving, and consistent delivery on our commitments.

This is a high-visibility, hands-on leadership role suited for someone who thrives in complexity, influences without line authority, and builds structure and rhythm in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor overall integration program management, ensuring workstream plans are aligned, interdependencies are managed, and milestones are met.
  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset—identify ways to streamline processes, reduce complexity, and improve execution speed and quality.
  • Develop and coach the project managers supporting each of the five workstreams, building project management discipline and capability across the integration.
  • Partner with workstream leads to maintain focus on outcomes, remove roadblocks, and strengthen cross-functional alignment.
  • Establish consistent tools, processes, and cadence for tracking and reporting progress through the use of Signal (dashboards, status reviews, risk tracking, etc.).
  • Drive clarity and integration across functions—linking operational, commercial, and support areas to ensure end-to-end readiness.
  • Gather and analyze data from across workstreams, develop insights, and communicate the “so what” clearly to senior leaders.
  • Support the EVP of Integration and leadership team with proactive issue management and integration readiness tracking.
  • Serve as a cultural connector—help teams from both organizations work effectively together and build shared ownership of results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree desired
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in large-scale transformations, integrations, or cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven track record leading complex programs with multiple workstreams and senior-level stakeholders
  • Ability to travel 50%+ to partner with sites and integration teams
  • Proficiency in project management and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—able to connect data to insights and insights to actions.
  • Familiarity with MBS/Lean or continuous improvement approaches preferred.
