Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Program Manager to join our Clinical Services team at Evolent Health. This individual will play a vital role in supporting the medical team by organizing clinical and operational data, driving business intelligence to optimize production staff performance and productivity, working cross-functionally to support project management, and supporting the Chief Clinical Officer in driving success of Evolent business goals.

The Program Manager will work across multiple Clinical, Performance, Clinical Operations, Product, and Data teams to collate, track, and analyze data to drive strategic initiatives focused on value creation and optimization of Evolent’s utilization management teams. This position requires strong healthcare knowledge, analytic capabilities, excellent communication skills, experience in building presentations, and a proactive project management mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Data and Narrative Management:
    Organize and synthesize clinical value data, metrics, and narratives for presentations, reports, and other communications aimed at both clinical and non-clinical audiences

  • Cross-Functional Liaison:
    Act as a bridge between the Clinical Services - Medical team and internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, Performance, Product, finance, and business development) to ensure consistent and effective translation of clinical programs' value propositions

  • Project Management:
    Lead and coordinate specific projects within the different specialty utilization management, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables across different value pools and clinical initiatives

  • Performance and Productivity Tracking:
    Maintain visibility into the performance and productivity across the utilization management staff, helping to collate success metrics and identify areas for improvement

  • Internal and External Support:
    Prepare materials for internal strategy sessions, external client meetings, and organizational leadership briefings on clinical program performance and value creation

  • Process Improvement:
    Identify opportunities to streamline project management workflows, improve communication between clinical and non-clinical teams, and enhance reporting practices

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, health sciences, or a related field required

  • Master’s in Public Health (MPH), Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA), or related advanced degree strongly preferred

  • Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in healthcare, preferably with exposure to utilization management (UM), clinical operations, or value-based care models

  • Project management experience, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting

  • Familiarity with cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, radiology benefit management and other related care programs a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex clinical data into clear, concise messaging

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working across multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
