At CESO, a Program Director is responsible for the execution of a client program or multiple small client programs simultaneously from the conceptual design phase through permit approvals. They will coordinate all client activities, monitor & forecast overall program performance, and ensure delivery on client projects. You will have primary responsibilities that include:
Primary Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and grow client relationships
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients, team members and attend internal and external meetings
- Complete and confirm billing, invoicing, tracking, and client’s accounts receivable by contract terms
- Prepare proposals to provide professional services for individual projects or programs including fee preparation, contract negotiation of fees and terms, change order preparation and negotiations.
- Coordinate with program standards, best practices and monitor quality, design technology and team performance to assure consistency as well as compliance with contractual agreements
- Lead project meets and make presentations internally and to external clients
- Serve as a mentor and/or supervisor for Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and design team members
- Manage and communicate with team on assigned program including client policies, procedures, goals, budgets, and schedules
- Identify and provide career path objectives and opportunities for team members through coaching, consistency, and feedback
- Responsible to meet Federal and State requirements regarding program practices, etc.
- Coordinate with outside consultants for procurement of services (surveys, geotechnical and environmental reports, traffic studies, MEP, structural engineering, civil, fire protection, acoustics, landscaping, etc.)
- Perform other supervisory duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with approximately 15 years of experience managing projects in a design and construction related fields or in lieu of a degree, 20+ years’ experience in design and construction related field or equivalent combination of education and experience with managing clients
- Experience leading a team and working with multiple projects
- Strong understanding of the design and construction process
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through problem solving
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Deltek, Paylocity, Newforma and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel
