About the role:
Samsara is seeking a creative and technically skilled Production Designer to join our Corporate Marketing team. This role is central to activating our brand's visual identity across all marketing and communication materials, ensuring consistency, quality, and creative excellence from concept to final, production-ready delivery. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role focused on the tactical execution, preparation, and final production of graphic assets for digital, print, and environmental applications.
You will keep our production standard and asset quality high, be responsible for translating core design concepts and brand guidelines into pixel-perfect, scalable production files for high-volume output.
This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Canada.

- Execute the production of a wide range of marketing collateral, including digital ads, social media graphics, web assets, email templates, presentation decks, and print materials (e.g., event signage, brochures).
- Prepare final artwork files according to vendor specifications, technical requirements, and established brand guidelines (color, typography, layout, imagery).
- Manage asset versioning, resizing, and localization of core design concepts for various channels and regional needs.
- Develop, maintain, and manage an organized library of production templates
and assets to improve team efficiency and ensure brand consistency across
all outputs. - Collaborate with senior designers to ensure design intent is maintained
while solving complex production challenges. - Audit and maintain assets across internal and external DAMs
- Conduct thorough quality control (QC) checks on all final files, including pre-flighting, to eliminate errors before handoff to vendors or deployment.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Production Designer, Graphic Designer, or a similar production-focused creative role, preferably within an in-house creative team or agency environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop for high-volume production.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical file preparation, including knowledge of image resolution, color modes (CMYK vs. RGB), bleed, trim, pre-flighting, and font handling for both digital and print production.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail.
An ideal candidate also has:
- Experience creating and managing design systems and component libraries
- Familiarity with motion graphics production or video editing (e.g., After Effects or Premiere Pro).
Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy: Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles. For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually.
We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market.
