ATI is looking for a Production Control Specialist to support our Specialty Materials Business Unit. This position will be located in Monroe, NC.
As a Production Control Specialist, you will direct and coordinate activities of individuals in cross-functional areas (Manufacturing, Quality, Labs, Shipping, Technology, Planning and Sales) to support ATI Specialty Materials revenue plan and on-time performance objectives.
Other Responsibilities:
- Reprocess batches to support manufacturing.
- Establishes work priorities for manufacturing, lab and quality areas.
- Resolves product deviations between sales and operations to ensure shipment of product.
- Provides support to all involved departments to streamline processes.
- Chairs production meetings with cross-functional participants.
- Ensures critical orders remain on schedule to meet customer demands.
- Provides communication between sales, quality, technical and operations.
- Maintains shipment reports for all levels of management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related discipline or
- In lieu of a degree, 4 years of related work experience
- 3 years of experience in production control
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle ERP experience
- Metals Manufacturing Industry experience
