Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Production and Inventory Coordinator (Level B or C) to join the 787 Boeing South Carolina (BSC) Materials Management Transportation and Paint Ops Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd Shift.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.
  • Monitors and analyzes work in process.
  • Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems.
  • Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability.
  • Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.
  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
  • Works under limited supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Ability to lift 35-40 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
  • Currently have or are able to obtain a forklift license
  • 1+ years of aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years' experience working with the ERPLN application

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ years' experience working with (SAT) Shipside Action Tracker
  • 1+ years' experience and system knowledge of BESSy (Boeing Enterprise Shipping System)
  • 1+ years' experience utilizing the Crib Master application
  • 1+ years' working knowledge of inventory systems such as KITS, Velocity, and Order Manager

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
Level B: $48,000 - $57,000
Level C: $54,900 - $57,950
