Position Overview


We're looking for a skilled Product Security Engineer to be at the forefront of engineering features directly that security teams want directly into our product. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, software engineering, and experience with cloud environments. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the security architecture of our Data+AI Security platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of security and automation features for our Data+AI Security platform
  • Collaborate closely within the rest of the engineering organization (security, product and development teams) to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Design and implement features in our product to help organizations protect against various threats, including those related to AI and machine learning
  • Stay current with emerging security threats, trends, and best practices in product security
  • Contribute to the development of security-related product requirements and specifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering with a focus on product security
  • Strong software development skills, particularly in languages used in cloud-native applications
  • In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices and common security vulnerabilities
  • Experience with cloud security principles and implementing security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their impact on product design
  • Experience with developing and designing automation to remediate cloud issues is hugely favourable.
  • Experience with security in AI/ML systems is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to balance security requirements with product functionality and user experience
