Join us and make an outsized impact as we create innovative solutions for businesses, their teams, and their stakeholders.

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Strategic Product Partnerships to own and scale SimpleClosure’s partner ecosystem. This person will be defining the strategy, developing deep integrations, negotiating win-win deals, and embedding our product where founders need it most. This is not a traditional channel or referral partnerships role, it’s about creating high-impact, integrated relationships that unlock recurring revenue and position SimpleClosure as an essential part of the founder journey.

You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO, product, and sales teams to identify, structure, and execute strategic partnerships with technology platforms, financial services, and ecosystems that interact with founders at key inflection points — from startup to shutdown.

Responsibilities
  • Define & Execute the Partnership Strategy

    • Develop a clear, data-informed strategy for identifying and prioritizing strategic product partnerships that drive recurring revenue and scalable growth.

    • Evaluate potential integrations and partnership models, ensuring strong alignment with product and business goals.

    Build Meaningful, Long-Term Relationships

    • Develop and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers across key technology platforms, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.

    • Represent SimpleClosure as a trusted, high-value partner that helps others better serve founders.

    Negotiate & Structure Strategic Deals

    • Lead commercial negotiations to create win-win partnerships that incentivize adoption and drive mutual success.

    • Ensure SimpleClosure is seamlessly embedded into partner workflows and customer experiences.

    Collaborate Across Teams

    • Work hand-in-hand with Product, GTM, and Operations to scope, prioritize, and execute integrations that create measurable impact.

    • Use customer and partner data signals to continuously optimize how partnerships deliver value.

    Measure & Scale Impact

    • Define and track key partnership KPIs, including revenue contribution, adoption metrics, and customer experience improvements.

    • Continuously refine the partnership model to scale with SimpleClosure’s growth trajectory.

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Experienced: 5+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or ecosystem development — ideally within B2B SaaS, fintech, or integrated product environments.

  • Strategic & Analytical: You understand how to evaluate, structure, and scale partnerships that create business value beyond referrals.

  • Technically Fluent: You can work with product and technical teams to identify integration opportunities and understand API-based collaboration.

  • Relationship-Oriented: You’re skilled at building trust with senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizations.

  • Deal-Minded: Strong commercial negotiation skills with a track record of structuring win-win partnerships.

  • Entrepreneurial: You thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and can balance strategy with hands-on execution.

  • LOCATION: Ideal candidate will be located in LA, SF, or NYC metro areas but we are open to other locations.

What we offer
  • Compensation: OTE salary range $190,000 to $250,000 (this includes base pay and variable compensation)

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Competitive equity package

  • Employer Covered Medical Benefits

  • Remote or hybrid work (depending on location) - we have a strong preference to NY, LA, or SF

  • Two in-person team retreats a year
