Lirio is a technology/software company that provides expertise in a variety of behavioral science domains (e.g., behavioral economics, social psychology, public health), data science, and machine learning to drive consumer engagement, close gaps in preventive and chronic care, and promote health and well-being across an individual’s lifespan. Lirio’s behavior change AI platform unites behavioral science with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) to deliver Precision Nudging health interventions. Precision Nudging is the application of behavioral science to health interventions personalized by AI to each individual that overcome barriers to action at the right time and place for scalable, behavior change. 

This is a remote role with the opportunity to be hybrid if located in Tennessee. All applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

To ensure an excellent onboarding experience and integration into the company, new colleagues will spend their first week onsite at one of our offices in Tennessee. Travel expenses will be paid. This is a requirement. 

Position Summary 

The Product Owner is responsible for ensuring that our products create value for our customers, users, and our company This role provides the vision, direction and leadership for several agile teams, both internal and outsourced, to help execute on the product vision and roadmap. The Product Owner will be focused on delivery of the Lirio platform and capabilities as an integrated component in a digital health ecosystem and international deployments of the Lirio systemThey will help to define the product vision, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and will lead the execution in collaboration with other Lirio teams, ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.   

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Product Ownership 

  • Leads various product efforts with an emphasis on ecosystem integrations and international deployments of the Lirio platform.
  • Collaborates with Lirio science and technology leaders to ensure product delivery is timely, meets quality expectations, and provides value to our customers.
  • Translates product ideas and vision into actionable work for squads, including use cases, workflows, epics, stories, tasks, and product wireframes.
  • Helps triage product ideas and requests to determine if a new product feature is needed or if a feature should be changed.
  • Plans, tracks, and communicates product changes to internal and external audiences and stakeholders
  • Effective prioritization and execution in high-pressure environments.  
  • Manages and maintains product presence across channel partner marketplaces
  • Works with internal and external development partners to create and maintain product functionality.
  • Advocates for and ensures technical squads understand customer pain points and needs. 

Collaboration and Communication 

  • Work with executives, squad leaders and members of the science and technology team to determine technical design, align resources, and deliver product features
  • Works with other product professionals to improve product organization processes.
  • Communicate and translate information in an understandable manner across all mediums and resources for internal and external purposes
  • Serve as a product ambassador and subject matter expert to internal stakeholders

Other 

  • Primarily serves internal colleagues, but with increasing engagement with external partners for international deployments 
  • Access to and works with sensitive and/or confidential information  
  • Access to and works with PHI/ePHI; adheres to HIPAA regulations and compliance
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Basic Qualifications 

  • 3-5 years experience as a Product Owner delivering healthcare technology products
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 1-2 years SaaS Product experience , including knowledge of either AWS or Azure Marketplaces, Oracle Partner Network, Epic App Orchard
  • Experience with international product deployments preferred
  • Experience integrating with ecosystem platforms, such as EMRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner/Oracle), CRMs (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365), or Digital Experience platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Cloud) highly preferred
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or similar Agile development life cycle model
  • Experience managing onshore and offshore development teams highly preferred
  • Experience with AzureDevOps preferred 
  • Innovative and collaborative
  • Able to interpret and translate technical and/or complex concepts into meaningful information to project team members and/or business personnel 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in technical and non-technical forums
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks in high pressure environments
  • Comfortable with change and able to react to shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills
