As a member of our Product Management Team, you will drive product innovation and delivery of our SaaS offerings in Governance, Risk and Compliance, as you guide our development teams to delight internal and external customers.

We are an Agile development organization. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for planning and guiding delivery for 1-2 Sprint Teams. You will take primary direction from your Product Manager and work closely with your Engineering partners to align roadmaps, prioritize product requirements, and keep the teams focused on delivering what matters most.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with Product Managers to define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the NAVEX platform

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with customer needs and business objectives, regularly refining it to maximize product value

  • Partner with engineering, UX, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions are developed effectively and in line with product vision and timelines

  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories with actionable acceptance criteria for the development team

  • Participate in all stages of the product development lifecycle to execute on product strategy, including ideation, design, implementation, and launch

  • Regularly update stakeholders on product development progress, risks, and opportunities; adjust priorities as needed to meet business goals

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer needs to drive product innovation and maintain a competitive edge

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within software development or technology-focused product management Experience with compliance, risk management, or SaaS platforms is highly desirable but not required

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, SharePoint), and a demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data to make informed product decisions

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to drive results through job competencies of attention to detail, collaboration and product development and delivery while leveraging NAVEX’s core values

  • The starting pay range for this role is $80,000+ per annum.
