Modivcare is looking for an experienced Product Owner III to join our team! This role is responsible for leading agile product development initiatives by translating strategic vision into executable tasks, prioritizing and refining product backlogs, and ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals. Product Vision and Strategy

  • Acts as the primary liaison between the development team and outbound Product Manager, ensuring alignment on vision, strategy, and outcomes.

  • Translates strategic goals into actionable backlog items and sprint priorities.

  • Defines and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product releases.

  • Collaborates with Product Management to ensure the development team delivers features that reflect the product vision.

  • Prioritizes backlog items based on value and strategic relevance.

Performance Measurement, Outcome Identification, Reporting, & Communications

  • Enables instrumentation for success metrics and tracks feature performance against goals.

  • Leads experimentation and fast-feedback practices to analyze user data.

  • Communicates performance outcomes to stakeholders and uses insights to adjust product plans.

  • Identifies performance issues and updates the backlog accordingly to enhance user satisfaction.

Customer Advocacy, User and Market Research

  • Conducts market research and user interviews to identify opportunities and inform backlog priorities.

  • Integrates customer feedback and market trends into product development.

  • Represents customer perspectives in agile ceremonies and throughout the development cycle.

Requirements Gathering and Backlog Refinement

  • Develops user stories and acceptance criteria from stakeholder and partner inputs.

  • Translates requirements into actionable product specifications.

  • Ensures backlog items are clear, concise, and meet the definition of ready.

  • Continuously refines and prioritizes the backlog for sprint readiness.

Prioritization & Road Mapping

  • Accepts or rejects completed work based on acceptance criteria and definition of done.

  • Aligns sprint-level priorities with short-term product roadmap goals.

  • Leads efforts to quickly validate product assumptions through iterative feedback loops.

Agile Delivery

  • Participates in key agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and demos.

  • Works with the development team to maintain focus and execution consistency.

Release Planning and Communications

  • Communicates product updates and release outcomes internally and externally.

  • Aligns release planning with stakeholder expectations and business needs.

Go-to-Market

  • Partners with marketing and sales teams to produce go-to-market materials and messaging.

  • Tracks KPI readiness for launch and ensures technical delivery aligns with launch timing.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Serves as a cross-functional liaison, aligning product execution with the broader product vision.

  • Drives collaboration within agile teams and with external stakeholders.

Risk Management

  • Identifies and mitigates risks at the sprint and project level, such as scope creep or timeline delays.

  • Adjusts backlog and sprint goals in response to emerging risks.

We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.

  • Five (5) plus years of experience on B2B, B2B2C, or SaaS-based product teams preferred.

  • Scrum/Agile certification desired.

  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.

  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, AHA, Figma, Amplitude, and Tableau.

  • Healthcare-related experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Proven adaptability, emotional intelligence, and collaboration skills across distributed teams.

  • Financial, UX, and technical acumen to support full lifecycle product ownership.

Salary: $92,500 - $125,900

Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
