Role Overview

As a Product Owner – Data Engineering & AI Solutions, you will lead the development of data-centric and AI-powered products that support IQVIA’s commercial, medical, and analytics platforms. You’ll work at the intersection of product strategy, data architecture, and AI innovation — translating business needs into scalable data pipelines, intelligent workflows, and platform capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone who combines product vision with deep technical fluency in data engineering and artificial intelligence, and who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for data engineering and AI components across IQVIA’s platforms (e.g., Snowflake IDP, Databricks, OneKey Accelerated Insights, OneKey AI Assistants…)
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories for engineering and AI development teams
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and stakeholder input
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, AI Scientists, and Product Managers to design scalable, secure, and reusable solutions
  • Ensure alignment with global templates, governance standards, and interoperability frameworks
  • Drive agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and ensure timely delivery of milestones
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and clients to gather feedback and continuously improve product features
  • Monitor platform performance, data quality, and usage metrics to inform future enhancements

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Data Platform Lead
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, APIs, and cloud-native architecture
  • Solid grasp of AI development workflows, including model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with IQVIA’s data assets (e.g., OneKey, Infine Dimensions) is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with day-to-day execution
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and expertise

What We Offer

  • A chance to lead the development of next-generation healthcare data and AI platforms
  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on innovation and impact
  • Exposure to global clients and cutting-edge technologies
  • Flexibility, autonomy, and opportunities for growth
  • A permanent contract and competitive compensation aligned with your experience
  • Training and development to deepen your expertise and expand your career
