POSITION SUMMARY

Newrez is seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and product storytelling across Direct to Consumer, Retail, JV, Wholesale, and Correspondent channels. This role will serve as the connective tissue between Product, Sales, Analytics and Performance Marketing to ensure our product offerings are clearly positioned, competitively differentiated, and consistently communicated across the organization and broader external market.

The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the Directors of Retail/JV Marketing, Wholesale Marketing, and Direct to Consumer Marketing to ensure seamless customer experiences from product introduction through later stage engagement, while driving adoption, usage, and growth across priority segments.

DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Own product positioning, value propositions, and core messaging across all mortgage products and programs including niche product teams: Affordable, Non-QM, Renovation, Builder, Condo, Diversity Lending, etc.
  • Translate complex product details into simple, actionable messaging for borrowers, loan officers, brokers, account executives, and B2B partners.
  • Partner closely with Direct to Consumer, Retail/JV and Wholesale Marketing Directors to support channel-specific sales enablement, marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Identify and pilot new and creative ways to distribute product messaging, including:
    • Physical collateral (flyers, one-pagers, desk drops, mailers)
    • Short-form and long-form video
    • SMS and mobile-friendly formats
    • Event, roadshow, and in-person materials
  • Execute go-to-market plans for product launches and enhancements, ensuring channel readiness and clarity.
  • Manage timelines, approvals, and coordination across Product, Legal, Compliance, Creative, and Channel Marketing.
  • Establish practical workflows, templates, and standards to improve speed, clarity, and consistency.
  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for product-related requests and launches.
  • Present to channel leaders, executive management with status updates on product launches, relevant campaign performance, content usage, conversion, portfolio and/or market opportunities, and other related metrics.
  • Operate with a strong bias toward action and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field required.
  • 6–10 years of experience in product marketing, channel marketing, or B2B/B2B2C marketing.
  • Mortgage or financial services experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience creating enablement materials for sales teams or external partners.
  • Prior people leadership or project leadership experience preferred.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Strong execution and project management capabilities.
  • Comfort testing new formats, channels, and distribution models.
  • Ability to balance creativity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Highly collaborative with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-informed decision-making mindset.
  • Comfortable working hands-on while influencing at a senior level.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and MarTech platforms a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
