The Role

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help scale Zip through its next phase of growth. In this role, you will work alongside our digital demand generation & GTM team to clearly and concisely articulate our products value .

Our GTM motion is half sales-lead and product-lead - in this role, you will be responsible for content, copy, and resource development that convey our value proposition to potential prospects (usually targeted towards small IT & security departments or operational departments in the mid-market)

Your day to day might look like

  • Owning product messaging & copy across the website, blog, and various social media channels & digital advertisements, taking end-to-end ownership of our website and working with digital demand generation to optimize it for SEO campaigns.

  • Develop sales collateral, slide decks, and any documentation needed by the sales and channel teams to win deals.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Zip value proposition to uniquely position us in comparison to our competitors

Requirements

Overall, we’re looking for individuals with high-ownership, autonomy, and willingness to learn.

Preferred requirements are flexible, but are loosely:

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience, preferrably in B2B mid-market segment

  • A bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Experience marketing to IT, Cybersecurity, and Operational departments (optional)

Company

Enterprise cybersecurity is broken. Current annual cybersecurity spending is roughly $150B, with most enterprises spending heavily to deploy, manage, and configure hundreds of different tools for marginal security benefit. At Zip, our goal is to build software that makes enterprise cybersecurity reasonable – to reduce bloat by bundling and configuring opinionated security tooling, synchronizing everything from device management to application security under one central pane of glass. At Zip, you’ll be at the cutting edge of security, working with some of the world’s most important companies to effortlessly secure their people, software, and data.
