About Us

Orkes is a platform for developers to build durable, distributed event driven applications.  Based on the popular open source orchestration engine Conductor, Orkes lets developers focus on faster go to market with applications, scaling them to handle billions of workflows without having to worry about failures, scalability or visibility into the executions.

At Orkes, we are redefining business process orchestration, and product marketing plays a central role in amplifying our voice. As a Product Marketing Manager, you’ll help shape how the world understands Orkes — from the first blog a developer reads to the first product demo they see. You’ll be the bridge between product, marketing, and sales, enabling go-to-market success and making Orkes irresistible to our audience.

Your Day-to-Day at Orkes

  • Run Monthly Webinars: Lead end-to-end execution of informative, engaging webinars that showcase Orkes Conductor to prospects and customers.
  • Conduct Market Research Calls: Run 2–3 market research interviews per month with prospects or customers and synthesize insights into derivative content for demand generation, sales enablement, and strategic planning
  • Create Buyer-Focused Content: Create and publish 1-2 whitepaper per month, tailored to developers, architects, and decision-makers.
  • Drive Sales Enablement: Build compelling messaging, collateral, battlecards, and playbooks that arm the sales team with everything they need to win.
  • Launch Product Updates: Lead go-to-market plans for new features and enhancements, translating technical innovation into clear value.
  • Push Case Studies & Logos: Collaborate with customer success to spotlight successful use cases and land new logos.
  • Support Demand Gen: Partner with the Demand Generation team to craft high-converting content and messaging across campaigns.

Qualities That Will Help You Succeed

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing (this is not a senior role).
  • Strong technical curiosity — you can pick up new tools quickly and enjoy getting hands-on with product features.
  • Understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed architectures.
  • Solid grasp of developer tools and the ability to translate technical features into business value.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt content for different personas and funnel stages.

Proactive collaborator who thrives working across product, engineering, sales, and marketing.

You Will Have a Fast Start If:

  • You've worked in a developer-focused or infrastructure software company.
  • You’ve demoed technical products or built basic demos to showcase value.
  • You’ve tried out Orkes Conductor.
  • You have experience supporting product-led growth or solution-based messaging.
  • You’re comfortable creating content for both technical and business audiences.

The requirements listed in the job descriptions are guidelines. You don’t have to satisfy every requirement or meet every qualification listed. If your skills are transferable we would still love to hear from you.
