About the Position

Hiya is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to lead go-to-market strategy and growth for our SMB audience and digital self-service experience. You’ll shape how small and midsize businesses discover, understand, and buy Hiya, while also optimizing the self-serve experience for all customers who purchase and onboard digitally.

This role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, and revenue. You’ll define and reach our SMB audience with clear, differentiated messaging and campaigns, while also driving automated, scalable growth for customers who buy without direct sales engagement. It’s a mix of audience strategy and growth execution, ideal for someone who loves combining storytelling with data-driven optimization.

You’ll join a small, high-impact product marketing team responsible for defining and communicating the value of Hiya’s products across some of our core audiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Go-to-market strategy: define and execute the GTM plan for SMB and self-serve segments across Hiya’s product portfolio.

  • Product partnership: work with the Product team to identify market opportunities, validate product–market fit for new SMB offerings, and shape roadmaps based on customer insights.

  • Audience clarity: develop ICPs, segmentation frameworks, and messaging that speaks directly to SMB buyers.

  • Self-serve funnel: partner with Product, Demand Gen, and Lifecycle teams to improve acquisition, sign-up, nurture, and activation flows that increase conversion and adoption.

  • Conversion experiments: design and test packaging, pricing, and journey optimizations to increase trial-to-paid rates and average revenue per account.

  • Campaign development: drive scalable, automated growth through website, email, and in-product programs.

  • Product storytelling: turn technical capabilities into simple, compelling narratives across web, ads, and lifecycle channels.

  • Performance analysis: track and interpret conversion, retention, and revenue metrics to guide roadmap priorities and marketing investments.

Qualities that will make you successful

  • 3–6 years in SaaS product marketing, growth marketing, or a hybrid PMM / growth role

  • Hands-on experience with digital or product-led growth: website optimization, trials, activation journeys

  • Ability to turn complex capabilities into clear, outcome-driven messages for SMB buyers

  • Comfort working with funnel data, conversion metrics, and A/B testing to guide decisions

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator across product, marketing, design, and sales

  • Curiosity for user behavior and how small optimizations drive outsized results

More Details

The base compensation for this role is $155,000-$190,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered: skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.

  • Travel Requirements: 15-25%
