Role Summary

Renew Home is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to help drive the development of strategic, high-impact content that brings our story to life—from our Virtual Power Plant (VPP) platform to our broader home energy management solutions.

In this role, you’ll translate complex product capabilities and energy concepts into clear, engaging narratives across formats including web, video, social, sales collateral, and thought leadership. You’ll also play a key role in supporting product launches and go-to-market programs, ensuring content aligns with GTM objectives and resonates across customer segments.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Partnerships, Sales, Design, and Comms teams to deliver consistent, high-performing content across the full customer journey—while managing strategic messaging, timelines, and tactical execution.

We’re looking for a sharp, collaborative product marketing and content strategist with strong writing skills, a B2B mindset, and the ability to manage both strategic storytelling and day-to-day delivery.

What You Will Do

Product Marketing: Content Strategy & Development

  • Translate product and platform capabilities into compelling content across channels and formats.
  • Support the development of a content roadmap aligned to GTM strategy, brand campaigns, and key launches.
  • Create or manage the creation of sales collateral, customer stories, white papers, web copy, and thought leadership content.
  • Lead content strategy for Renew’s website, ensuring alignment with brand and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure message consistency and clarity across all content touchpoints.

Project & GTM Management

  • Manage content production from brief to delivery, ensuring high quality, clarity, and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate with freelance writers, designers, and video producers as needed.
  • Maintain and organize a central library of reusable assets (e.g., explainers, case studies, decks) for use across teams.
  • Support execution for go-to-market programs and product launches, including development of customer-facing and web assets.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Work closely with the Director of Product Marketing and broader marketing team to identify key messaging opportunities.
  • Support launches, campaigns, and event content needs, including scripting, copy, and storytelling.
  • Partner with Design, Sales, Product, and Comms teams to ensure content supports the full customer journey.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, product marketing, or product strategy, ideally in the energy, tech, management consulting, or climate space.
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex and technical concepts into compelling stories for different audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Experience developing content that supports sales enablement and/or demand generation.
  • Familiarity with managing and maintaining web content and messaging.
  • Comfortable working across functions and managing multiple projects at once.
  • Clear communicator, detail-oriented, and energized by fast-paced environments.
  • Passionate about the clean energy transition and excited to shape its narrative.
  • Bonuses:
    • Experience producing interactive or data-driven content (e.g., demos, visualizations, tools).
    • Background supporting enterprise sales or technical buyer journeys.
    • Familiarity with regulated industries or policy-driven storytelling.
    • Experience supporting executive comms or high-stakes messaging.

  • Fully remote work environment with home office set-up allowance.
  • Real and lived work-life balance - Company perks include no pre-set vacation limits (with a top-down culture of taking meaningful PTO every year!), parental leave benefits, and a corporate value of working sustainably and putting families first.
  • Competitive benefits package that includes numerous health and wellness benefits.
