Mysten Labs believes that decentralized and open protocols are the bedrock of the internet of value. This is why at Mysten Labs, we are creating foundational infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of decentralized protocols based on blockchain technologies.

Mysten Labs builds foundational infrastructure for high-performance, on-chain applications. Within Mysten Labs, the Finance Business Unit focuses on liquidity, trading, and core market infrastructure on Sui.

DeepBook is Sui’s native, on-chain central limit order book (CLOB), powering high-performance, composable trading across the ecosystem.

We’re hiring a Product Marketing Manager to own positioning, narrative, and go-to-market for DeepBook. This role sits within the Finance Business Unit and reports to Amir Mehrbakhsh, Head of Marketing.

You’ll work closely with product, engineering, growth, developer relations, and communications teams to drive adoption and shape how on-chain market infrastructure is understood.

What You'll Do:
  • Own product marketing for DeepBook, including positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis

  • Define core personas (builders, protocols, traders, liquidity providers) and value propositions

  • Lead product launches and campaigns with content, comms, and growth teams

  • Translate complex trading and market-structure concepts into clear messaging

  • Partner with product and engineering on roadmap and GTM priorities

  • Serve as the internal and external expert on DeepBook

  • Support ecosystem growth with developer relations and BD

What You’ll Have:
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience for technical or platform products

  • Strong understanding of DeFi, trading protocols, or market infrastructure (DEXs, CLOBs, liquidity venues)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience owning messaging and GTM for infrastructure or developer-facing products

  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

  • 1+ years of experience in crypto or a crypto-adjacent company

  • Startup or early-stage experience is a plus

What Success Looks Like
  • DeepBook is established as a stand-alone brand with clear positioning

  • DeepBook is recognized as the backbone of Sui DeFi

  • A consistent DeepBook narrative is used across launches, ecosystem messaging, and partners

  • DeepBook plays a visible role in shaping the Sui Stack story

  • Launches and integrations ship with strong GTM execution and adoption
