The Product Marketing team at Shift defines the go-to-market strategy for our industry-leading AI products. As a Content Marketing Specialist, you will drive the narrative for our AI agents, ensuring our global teams have the storytelling tools to build pipeline and win customers. You will collaborate across Product, Sales, and Marketing to create compelling content that resonates with both IT and business leaders. Your work will be central to how we communicate the value of autonomous agents in the insurance and financial services sectors.

What Your Impact Looks Like

  • Jump In & Own It: Take proactive ownership of the agent storytelling roadmap, moving from initial ideas to finished content without waiting for direction.
  • Simplify the Complex: Translate technical AI updates into clear, simple stories that help our customers understand the ROI of their investment.
  • Communicate with Impact: Develop a dual-track content plan that addresses the specific needs and goals of both IT and business buyers.
  • Test, Learn, & Scale: Experiment with new content formats—from white papers to social media—and use real feedback to refine our messaging.
  • Drive Shared Wins: Partner closely with Product and Field Marketing to ensure our GTM teams are unblocked and equipped to win.
  • Finish What You Start: Follow through on high-impact initiatives like online events and web pages, ensuring they meet measurable business needs.

What You'll Need to Succeed

We are looking for a Shifter who is...

  • A Content Marketing Specialist: You have 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS content marketing and can explain the technical difference between chatbots and autonomous agents.
  • A Master Storyteller: You possess strong writing skills and a passion for creating compelling, data-driven narratives that build trust with an audience.
  • Collaborative: You thrive in a One Team environment, seeking out the expertise of engineers and sales leaders to improve your work.
  • Growth-Minded: 
    • You have an appetite for change and a willingness to learn, using AI tools and LLMs to scale content while maintaining our authentic voice.
    • You have the experience and logic to navigate the complex needs of the insurance industry.
  • Solve Without Drama: You stay calm and focused on solutions when balancing competing priorities or tight deadlines.

This position is open to working from our Boston Office (2 days per week is ideal) or remotely in the US.  Must have willingness to work hours that overlap with the US East Coast and Europe.
