 We are looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Product team. In this role, you will help support HHAeXchange’s growth by contributing to product strategy while also driving the tactical execution of roadmaps and release plans using Agile product management and development practices.

You will be responsible for translating business requirements into clear product specifications, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and helping ensure the successful delivery of product initiatives. Working closely with both business and technology teams, you will play an important role in supporting the product roadmap, managing priorities, and delivering solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates located in the EST or CST time zones within the US only.

Essential Job Duties

  • Maintain the product backlog, ensuring stories are not committed with insufficient details or reviewing with the business groups involved. 
  • Document user stories and detailed functional requirements for the engineering team. Provide guidance on expected acceptance criteria to QA teams. 
  • Facilitate Agile development processes, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization, to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality products. 
  • Identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts. 
  • Be self-accountable for your product domain’s effectiveness in achieving broader strategic business objectives by formulating and executing product strategies, roadmaps, and release plans.  
  • Develop a deep understanding of your product’s target markets, features and functionality, limitations, opportunities, buyer/user personas, competitive advantages, threats, etc.  
  • Collaborate directly with 3rd party vendors and partners consuming and integrating with HHAeXchange products and services.

Travel Requirements

  • Travel 10-25%, including overnight travel

Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technology field
  • 2+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in health IT vendor space with experience in both strategic and tactical capacities.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and assert influence across departments to manage stakeholder expectations and drive the overall success of the product.  
  • Understanding of Agile Product Management and Development principles.  Classroom Agile/Scrum training or certification is a plus.  
  • Familiarity with SaaS business model and associated product health metrics along with configuration and self-service design concepts.  
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile software development tools. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal team members and external customers. 
  • Experience in facilitating software development through requirement elicitation and quality assurance.
  • Experience in user story writing and product backlog management using JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent tools.
  • Experience with product and software development life cycles.
  • Team player -  willing both to steer the team towards success and to fully support the team when others are steering.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Making good decisions and solving problems while under pressure. 
  • Willingness to explore and adopt AI tools responsibly to enhance productivity and innovation in your role.
