The Role

We are seeking an experienced  Product Manager to lead the definition, development, launch, and support the lifecycle of key generative AI offerings, industry-specific service accelerators within our Solution Engineering team at Presidio.  

This role combines deep product management expertise, Solution Engineering oversight and industry domain knowledge to create compelling solutions that accelerate client engagement and drive business growth. The successful candidate will own and support the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through launch. 

The right candidate can navigate through solution and service definitions, internal documentation (MRD/PRD), financial modeling inputs, and product and enablement collateral across Presidio's core industry teams. As we develop our product management functionality where products are services, this role is fundamental to our evolution. 

The Services Product Manager works closely with our key practice areas, portfolio, field sales, engineering leads, service delivery, finance, and marketing to ensure offerings are well-articulated, scalable, and aligned with customer outcomes and market demand. 

Responsibilities Include:

Product Development & Strategy 

  • Solution Engineering & Accelerator Development: product Planning and oversight of Design and development industry-specific service accelerators that address unique sector challenges and opportunities.
  • Solution Engineering Oversight - Collaborate with platform and development teams to inform backlog prioritization, feature requirements, and delivery milestones. 
  • Product Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify industry pain points, competitive landscape, and opportunity sizing. 
  • Product Roadmap: Create and maintain strategic product roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market demands. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with delivery teams, subject matter experts, and industry consultants to ensure accelerator relevance and viability. 

Product Go-To-Market  

  • Product Feature & Value Framework: work in collaboration with Portfolio, Solution Engineering.
  • Solution / Accelerator Budget Management - Manage, track and ensure financial modeling and pricing logic are validated with Finance and SalesOps. 
  • Launch Planning: Lead cross-functional launch initiatives, coordinating with marketing, sales, and delivery teams. 
  • Market Positioning: Create compelling value propositions that differentiate our accelerators in competitive markets.  Collaborate with Product marketing and enablement to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for each industry accelerator, including positioning, messaging, and channel strategy. 
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key success metrics for accelerator adoption and business impact. 

Industry Expertise 

  • Domain Knowledge: Leverage deep industry understanding to inform product decisions and market strategies. 
  • Thought Leadership: Create industry-specific content including whitepapers, case studies, and presentation. 
  • Industry Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, analysts, and thought leaders. 
  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay current on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and emerging trends. 
  • Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategies accordingly. Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and industry benchmarking to shape the longer-term product roadmap. 

Product Delivery Readiness 

  • Pre-Sales Readiness - support Field Sales, Solutions Architects, and Partner teams with presales messaging and RFP support. 
  • Delivery Readiness - Collaborate with Service Delivery and Operations teams to document SLAs, delivery models, and handoffs. 
  • Product Documentation - Define, maintain, and evolve an up-to-date repository of offering documentation, service offering documentation including internal playbooks, customer-facing collateral, and pricing models.  
  • Product Lifecycle / Change Management - Lead regular cross-functional reviews to assess offering performance and backlog health. This includes serving as the  voice of the offering internally and champion roadmap updates through the Presidio governance process. 

Required Background & Skills: 

  • Product Management: 6-8 years of product management experience, preferably in B2B services, Technology or Services/Consulting environment. Experience working in cross-functional product or portfolio teams. 
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding and experience in one or more of the following industries:  
    • Financial Services 
    • HCLS | Healthcare – Payer/Provider and Life Sciences 
    • Technology, Media & Entertainment (TME) + Gaming / Sports 
    • Retail / Manufacturing 
    • State, Local & Education (SLED) 
  • Go-to-Market: Proven track record of successful product launches and GTM  
  • Services Background: Experience with professional services, consulting, or solution development  
  • Project Management Best Practices:  Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Excel, and Lucid chart or equivalent. Exposure to ITIL, Agile, and cloud-native product lifecycle practices preferred. 
  • Application Development Best Practices - Experience managing multiple application development, Network or cloud / data center solutions engineering engagement. 

Technical Skills 

  • Cloud Providers / Hyperscalers - Familiarity with modern cloud services, including areas such as: Azure, AWS, GCP and multi-cloud solutions. 
  • Experience with Agile delivery models and backlog/epic/story writing. 
  • Analytics: Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and performance measurement tools.
  • Documentation: Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
  • Presentation: Excellent presentation and communication abilities for executive and client audiences.
  • Project Management: Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Experience leading initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Team work: Highly collaborative approach and mindset with the ability to interface across sales, delivery, and technical teams. 
  • Client Focus: Strong customer empathy and ability to translate client needs into product requirements.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of P&L responsibility and business model considerations.
  • Financial fluency: can interpret cost models, margin analysis, and ROI logic. 
  • Adaptability:  Ability to manage multiple offerings and competing priorities. Comfort with ambiguity and iterating with speed. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent Experience and/or military experience
  • MBA or Advanced Degree in relevant field preferred 
  • Consulting Experience with technology consulting firms or industry-specific advisory roles 
  • Technology Background with understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, cloud, automation) 
  • Industry Certifications relevant to target verticals. 
  • Detail-oriented: self-motivated, and comfortable managing complexity. 
  • Speaking/Writing Experience at industry conferences or publications, Strong written and verbal com

Physical Requirements:

May involve periods of sitting and screen time. Limited travel (<10%) may be required to attend in-person planning sessions or customer meetings.
